What stays on your device

Your recent search and shortlist are stored in your browser so you can revisit them. MeetSpot does not require an account and does not receive those saved items.

Location information

You choose suburb names. The website does not request your precise device location. Search inputs are used to calculate and display possible meeting places.

External services

The finder may request venue, map and driving-route information from OpenStreetMap contributors, OpenFreeMap and OSRM. When you open a venue, booking or route link, the destination website receives information under its own privacy policy.

Feedback

If you email feedback, your email provider and the recipient process the information you choose to include. Do not include sensitive personal information.

Analytics and cookies

The current public beta does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Essential hosting logs may be retained by the hosting provider for security and reliability.

Changes

This notice will be updated before adding advertising, accounts or third-party behavioural analytics.
